Case Study – Cleaning Service

We Have Provided Deep Cleaning Services at Stapleford Park Drive, Greenville, SC.

We are a professional cleaning service provider, providing a wide range of cleaning solutions to residential and commercial customers for nearly a decade. Recently, we were hired by a client located at 640 Mt Vernon Lane in Duncan, SC, to provide house cleaning services. One of the challenges that we faced during the project was cleaning the chandelier in the client’s home. We were tasked with thoroughly cleaning the chandelier while ensuring that all safety standards were met.

Challenges:

As we all know, cleaning a chandelier requires care and attention to avoid damaging it or causing injury. The chandelier in the client’s home was in a high-ceilinged room, making it difficult to access. The chandelier was also made up of intricate designs, making it a time-consuming and delicate process. We had to develop a strategy to clean the chandelier safely and effectively without causing any damage to the chandelier or the surrounding area.

Before cleaning:

Treatment/ Services:

  • First, we declutter and remove unnecessary items from the living spaces.
  • After removing the clutter and unwanted things, we begging the cleaning process. We started by dusting all surfaces, including furniture, picture frames, and knick-knacks.
  • Then we swept and vacuumed the floor. In the bedroom, we scrubbed the toilets, sinks, and showers, removing all traces of mold and mildew. We cleaned the counters and appliances in the kitchen, including the stovetop and refrigerator.

Solution

We came up with a plan to clean the chandelier safely and effectively. The first step was to turn off the electricity supply to the chandelier. This was done to prevent any accidents that could occur due to electric shocks. Then we covered the surrounding area with protective sheets to prevent any damage to the furniture or floor.

We used a ladder to access and carefully removed each part from the chandelier. The crystals were cleaned individually by socking them into a mixer of water and vinegar to remove the dirt or grime. After cleaning, the crystals were dried with a soft cloth. Next, we cleaned the chandelier frame and bulbs using a soft-bristled brush and a microfiber cloth.

Once the chandelier was completely cleaned, then we carefully reattached the crystals, ensuring that each was in its correct place. We then turned the power supply back on and tested the chandelier to ensure that it was functioning correctly.
